Terms and Conditions
1. Maison de Pecheur is available for holiday rentals of any agreed period, minimum 3 days.
2. The owners reserve the right to decline any booking without explanation.
3. A non-refundable deposit of £100 and a completed and signed booking form are required to confirm a booking.
4. End cleaning is extra at £35 and will be added to the final balance.
5. The total balance is due 4 weeks before the holiday start date.
6. A fully refundable security deposit of £100 is required with the balance. This is to cover excess costs detailed in clause 7 and any accidental damage/insurance excess. Should there be no excess costs, the owners will refund the security deposit in full within 2 weeks of the end date. The security deposit can be a signed cheque, which will not be cashed, and which will be destroyed if there are no additional charges.
7. Holiday prices include:
      7.1 Bed linen and tea towels. Please provide your own bath and hand towels.
      7.2 Electricity up to the value of £30 per week, pro rata. This is more than sufficient for normal usage, any additional                         electricity costs will be deducted from the security deposit.
      7.3 Guests are requested to leave the cottage clean and tidy with all washing up done, any excessive end cleaning                         necessary will be charged against the security deposit.
8. In the event of cancellation or non-payment, the owners will make every effort to re-let the property for the agreed period. The client will remain liable for the full holiday costs unless a new booking is received, in which event the initial deposit will also be refunded. The owners advise clients to take out comprehensive holiday insurance before booking to include cancellation cover.
9. Maison de Pecheur is available from 3 pm on the start date. Clients are asked to vacate by 10am on the end date.
10. The cottage is a non-smoking property.
11. Sorry, pets are not permitted except by special arrangement.
12. Please report any damage or problems at the earliest opportunity.
13. The owners will make every effort to maintain all services and equipment in operating condition but shall not be liable for any temporary unavailability due to circumstances outside their control. Under no circumstances shall the owners liability exceed the total cost of the holiday rental.
14. The clients have a duty of care to ensure the security and safe keeping of the property and its contents. The property is fully insured, but clients will be held liable for any acts of negligence that nullify the insurance.
15. These terms and conditions form part of the contract, which shall be governed in every particular by English Law.
